The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had invited proposals by its Request for Proposal for qualification and shortlisting of bidders for the “Rehabilitation and Upgradation to Four Lane Configuration & Strengthening of Sihuni to Rajol from Km 51.000 to Km 72.000 of NH-20 (New NH-154) (Design Length 18.450 KM) of Pathankot-Mandi Section under NH(O) in HP on HAM basis (Package-IIA)”(“Project”). After evaluation of the bids received, the Authority had technically qualified certain bidders, including, inter alia, Gawar Construction Limited (“GCL”) as a Selected Bidder. The GCL, also a Sponsor, then incorporated a special purpose vehicle named Gawar SihuniHighway Private Limited (GSHPL) on 12th April 2022 to execute the Project, and theConcession Agreement was executed between the National Highways Authority of India and GawarSihuni Highway Private Limited on 9th May 2022 for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the said Project.

Mr. Bant Singh Singla, Mr. Ram Kishan, and Mr. Sahil Kathuria are the directors of the Company.
Profile of the Directors –
Mr. Bant Singh Singla- He is a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering having experience of more than 40 years in Govt. and Private sectors. He worked as Chief GM (Tech) NHAI, as MD Haryana State Roads & Bridges Development Corporation, as Chief Engineer Haryana PWD (B&R). Some of the prestigious projects got executed by him while in Govt sector are: Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Delhi Meerut Expressway in 500 days, Govt Women University Khanpur Kalan Haryana in 13 months. He has written many Technical papers. Three of these were selected in NASA Digital Library and one in the Howard University Library. He has written a book titled “Expressways in 500 days”. Some of the prestigious awards received by him are:- ‘Udyog Rattan Award’ by Institute of Economics Studies in year 2007, ‘Trendsetter Project of the year 2018’ at Mumbai, ‘The Expressway Man of the Year’ by Global Leaders Awards at Dubai in year 2019, ‘Appreciation Letter’ from Shri Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Prime Minister, ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ in 2019 & ‘Outstanding Performance in Expressways and Highways’ in Europe in 2020 by Global Leaders Awards.
Mr. Ram Kishan – A young versatile director with an experience of over 18 years in construction. He has also been working with Gawar Construction Limited (Holding company) since April 2017 as a Wholetime Director. He has given remarkable contribution in completion of two HAM projects ahead of the scheduled timelines under his guidance.
Mr. Sahil Kathuria – He joined Gawar group in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Kurukshetra University and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) with Dual Specialization in Finance and Marketing from Lingaya’s Institute of Management and Technology Faridabad (MDU, Rohtak) in year 2008. At Gawar Sihuni Highway Private Limited, he is responsible for financial planning and business process streamlining.
