Project Details:
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had invited proposals by its Request for Proposal(RFP) for qualification and short listing of bidders for “Rehabilitation and Upgradation to 2 Lane with Paved Shoulder Configuration & Strengthening of Padhar to Bijni Section from Km 180.000 to Km 202.815 of NH-154 (Design Length-19.050 KM) of Pathankot-Mandi under NH(O) in the State of Himachal Pradesh on HAM Basis (Package-VA)” (the “Project”).After evaluation of the bids received, the Authority had technically qualified certain bidders including, interalia, the Gawar Construction Limited (GCL) as a Selected Bidder. The Gawar Construction Limited, also a Sponsor, then incorporated a special purpose vehicle named as Gawar Pathankot Highways Private Limited (GPHPL) on 18th August 2022 to execute the Project and a Concession Agreement was executed between NHAI and GMHPL on 25th August, 2022 for construction, operation and maintenance of the said Project.

Composition of the Board of Directors
Mr. Sahil Kathuria, Mr. Puneet Kalra, Mr. Ram Kishanand, Mr. Surender Kumar are the Directors of the Company.
Profile of the Directors –
Mr. Sahil Kathuria – He joined Gawar group in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Kurukshetra University and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) with Dual Specialization in Finance and Marketing from Lingaya’s Institute of Management and Technology Faridabad (MDU, Rohtak) in year 2008. He is responsible for financial planning and business process streamlining.
Mr. Puneet Kalra – He is a Commerce Graduate from University of Rajasthan. He has been associated with Gawar group since year 2005 and has been instrumental in the growth of the group. He has a rich experience in the Construction sector, for over two decades. He overlooks bidding, tendering and overall administration in the Company.
Mr. Ram Kishan – A young, versatile director with an experience of over 18 years in construction. He has also been working with Gawar Construction Limited (Holding company) since April 2017 as a Whole-time Director. He has madea remarkable contribution tothe completion of two HAM projects ahead of the scheduled timelines under his guidance.
Mr. Surender Kumar – He has a vast experience of more than 20 years in the construction of roads. He is actively involved in the business of mining and crushing stones. His vast experience guided the Company toward growth.
