Project Details:
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had invited proposals by its Request for Proposal for qualification and shortlisting of bidders for the Project. After evaluation of the bids received, the Authority had technically qualified certain bidders, including, inter alia, Gawar Construction Limited (“GCL”) as a Selected Bidder. The GCL, also a Sponsor, then incorporated a special purpose vehicle named Gawar Fazilka Highway Private Limited (GFHPL) on 10 th April 2023 to execute the Project, and the Concession Agreement was executed between the National Highways Authority of India and GFHPL on 12 th May 2023 for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the said Project.

Composition of the Board of Directors of Gawar Fazilka Highway Private Limited Mr. Puneet Kalra, Mrs. Anjali K Mathur, Mr. Yogesh Mahajan and Mrs. Himani are the directors of the Company.
Profile of the Directors – Mr. Puneet Kalra : He is a Commerce Graduate from the University of Rajasthan. He has been associated with the Gawar Group since 2005 and has played a significant role in the growth and expansion of the Group. With over two decades of experience in the construction sector, he oversees bidding, tendering, and overall administration of the Company.
Mrs. Anjali K Mathur : She has an excellent academic background, having completed her Bachelor’s in Commerce in 2013, Professional degree of Company Secretaryship in 2014 and Bachelor's in Law in 2017. She has a rich working experience of over a decade. She oversees the regulatory compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance in the company.
Mr. Yogesh Mahajan : He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of CharteredAccountants of India. He has over 12 years of experience in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, and allied financial matters. He has been associated with the Group for more than a decade and contributes significantly to the financial management and compliance functions of the Company.
Mrs. Himani : She has an excellent academic background, having completed her Master’s degree in Commerce in 2020 and qualified as a Company Secretary in 2022. She possesses over four years of experience in handling secretarial compliance and oversees regulatory compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and corporate governance functions within the Company.
